Review on Ramsond SunShield Charge Controller Regulator by Tony Wylie

I bought this Ramsond 12V charge controller to work with my Ramsond 12V panel but I couldn't connect them because the charge controller didn't have the right ones MC4 connectors , just two bare wires. So I had to go and buy an MC4 connector and hook it up myself. Just disappointed that two products from the same brand don't work seamlessly together right away. Otherwise everything seems to be working well after a week, the lights are bright and the instructions are clear and in good English. Update: Charges my deep cycle battery well, but when my car battery died I tried charging it with this controller. The green light indicated it was fully charged, but I couldn't start the car. The problem might be the battery connector, which I had to improvise because it didn't fit properly.
