I must say that I have been using yellow Rupespads (foam rubber and wool) for a while. While they are a pleasure to work with, they are flexible enough to really make polishing a curved slab an easy task. The blue ones are much harder and make the experience much more difficult. They will tell me these are rough pads so expect them to be stiffer. And you are right! On the other hand, they handle bumps very well...when you're working with dirty paint or hard varnish, they really work wonders. I'll leave them as a last resort if my yellows can't get the job done!
