poor design at Ceramics & Pottery

I have been carving ceramics for 15 years and decided to try something new. You sure would be good for something, right? They would be new and sharp. And the Chinese have a sublime and ancient pottery tradition. I haven't found anything these tools are good for. It seems that they were not designed by a potter.
