I bought it primarily for sewing silk - I chose carefully, studied respected forums and a bunch of reviews (thanks to everyone who left a review here)). We settled on this model, incl. and because in this price category it seemed to me the most responsive. In ten days I built a couple of floor-length silk dresses and actually a sampler - a cambric dress. "Jeans for filing" somehow did not happen nearby, but a leather clutch bag and a belt for it were created - the skin is soft, but in some places it was in six layers plus glue plus double lining. The machine took everything easily and naturally. A leather needle and a Teflon foot - that goes without saying. For sharp transitions in thickness, there is a convenient plastic feature (bought separately). The hardest part was getting it all under the paw. I don't think jeans will be a problem. I appreciated the sewing from the button - the button is located very conveniently, when sewing long or not requiring close attention seams, for example, overcasting, or if you are very tired of "putting pressure on the gas", this function greatly facilitates the process. In fact, the machine sewed itself, and I just sat next to it. About the same impression from looping - just sit and watch. Needle threader - oooh! ., this is a separate song. Very nice, but for me just a necessary option. There is a significant difference between sewing silk and leather, but I did not change either the thread tension or the presser foot pressure - the machine settings turned out to be optimal. "Quietly-smoothly-muzhdetispyat" - everything is so. The machine was looking for and bought "anniversary." those. with a hard case-cap, a bunch of pink spools and flowers on the facade. The advantages include, perhaps, also a minimum of any unnecessary decorative seams and ease of learning - I started sewing a dress within half an hour after the delivery of the machine.
