These mats are very pretty. I've bought similar ones before. They have a slightly smelly odor but I'm sure that will lessen over time. Others I've bought in the past have also had a 1st odor. But it's all very nice and looks great. I've always wanted a pebble shower tray but as that's not an option right now it's the next best thing. Also, it stays in place and more secure to prevent slipping. And I'm older with arthritis so that's a big deal for me. First of all, you need to get used to the fact that artificial stones are slightly elevated. But that's kind of a plus as it reports my arthritic legs and inflamed arches.
