About half of the grommets were poor quality
They were fine but due to the way they were cut some of the threads were twisted and wouldn't accept the nut. It looks like they were cut with some sort of metal shears that crushed the body, rather than a rotary tool. I had to cut out a few of them with a dremel so they could be used.
