Excellent purchase. My roommate and I have been using it literally every day since it arrived. About a month of daily use for at least a few hours and moderately aggressive handling and I've had no issues. The springs work great. Haven't used it over a door yet. I ended up using anchors to drill through the wall and got a bracket for the bottom corners to add some stability to the floor. If possible I would recommend that. My door is too close to the wall so it's much closer to the center now. You wouldn't have to do that if you were just throwing the ball, but we love to dunk and can hit the ring pretty hard so I wanted it to be safer than door hangers. This is by far the highest quality mini tire and shield I have ever had. This is the only one I've tried where you can use the rim to get a soft rebound due to the springs. This is a great value and I recommend it to anyone looking for a more durable mini hoop than most. there. I've also noticed that some people overtighten the screws and break the back panel. There's no need to tighten it until you can't turn the screw anymore. Just hand tighten it and give it another half turn or so and you'll be fine. Many of the issues I've seen in pre-purchase reviews seem to be human error.
