This is a great option for people who have trouble getting up and down off the ground. If you're able to jump out of an open tailgate, you can get up and face the day straight away. It's plain and simple and appears to be well made. I'm not a big fan of threading support rods through the hub, but it certainly makes it more durable than just using clamps. I love that it's flat and solid underneath, that you're off the ground and that you can attach it to your truck so quickly and easily so it doesn't fly away. I also love that any location can be a suitable campsite once you get out of your truck. So it's great for country camping and probably good for cross country trips too as you can pull off the roadside and soon have a great place to sleep anywhere. Its size is a little tight for family use but great for a solo backpacker or a couple. Installation is simple and easy, but lifting in place is much easier with an assistant. This good.
