Review on πŸ’‘ Transparent Plastic Distribution Circuit with Enhanced Protection by Ken Beasom

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not safe for any power distribution. I'm not sure what you could use that for.

This DIN rail switch box is just plain stupid. Though it's rated for 12 devices, the thin plastic DIN rail isn't big enough for anything but tiny loads. Yes, the splint itself is molded into a box and is made of thin plastic. The two cable entry holes at the top and bottom are only 20mm in diameter, too small for anything but the thinnest wire. It will likely work for some types of DIN rail low voltage data cables, but not every type of power distribution. To add insult to injury, the entire lid is held in place by six tiny plastic tabs. My box arrived broken which is not surprising considering how flimsy the whole box was.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Damaged
