Didn't even survive a wash. I know these towels say they can only be line dried, but mine got ruined in the wash. I washed it in cold water on the gentle cycle with other dark colored towels I just bought. They were destroyed when I took them out of the wash. The edges of the towel were pulled up and unraveled. I dried them in the car after they were already destroyed and didn't want to waste time hanging them up. Maybe my machine cycle is too rough, I don't know. I washed according to the instructions prior to first use and they didn't, so I can't comment on how well they work. They look nice, soft and all, but please be careful with machine washing. The towels, which have to be hand washed so as not to fall apart in the machine, are too delicate for me. I won't be buying them again and it's a shame because they looked nice and felt good until washed.
