I installed a master cylinder on my 2005 Polaris 400 Sportsman. I first found that the threads for the brake line were wrong, which didn't really matter, I replaced the fitting on the wizard's end. The problem appeared when you press the pedal after everything has been pumped. You get a geyser of fluid in the reservoir and no brake pressure. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money by spending hundreds more and buying an OEM part.
