Review on Renewed OnePlus 7 Pro GSM Unlocked Phone - 256GB, 6.7" Display, Mirror Grey, Android OS by Keiko Yapon ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

Oneplus releases 2 categories of smartphones - just good handsets and smartphones that you don't want to let go of. Of the latter, I can accurately name 1, 3(t) and 6. Whether 7Pro refers to them is a difficult question. The smartphone turned out to be definitely good, with many significant changes for the better. But he also has iterations - for example, enumeration with curved edges, with scan, screen size and resolution, zoom and aspect ratio. Most busts with the screen. A device praised from all sides by video bloggers and reviewers. Hence too many hopes and disappointments. Perhaps it turned out too subjectively, but the device can be recommended to everyone who does not have a biased attitude towards gigantic sizes and AMOLED. : For all its merits, the screen tears gray text on a black background (a trite inactive item in the settings with the dark theme turned on). The first time I encounter this on AMOLED. And this is with the vaunted 90Hz.

Pros
  • A good quality screen with a high resolution (and which can be at 90Hz), always a top platform and performance, a minimalistic (and empty) nimble shell with the ability to unlock the bootloader, a large user community, a significant amount of RAM and built-in storage, minimal bezels and no front cutouts cameras, a full set of cameras, continuous manufacturer support, real fast charging, a full set of up-to-date interfaces, finally stereo sound, a new vibration motor (compared to the old rattle).
Cons
  • - Size and aspect ratio. The smartphone is simply huge, with a nasty aspect ratio - most of the video works with frames on the sides or cut off from above and below, in landscape orientation it is not convenient to use with the on-screen keyboard. 18:9 would be better, but 16:9 is fantastic. - The screen, despite its quality, was bent for some reason - apparently Samsung does not ship others. Curved edges do not give any advantage, they only glare, devour part of the picture and are relatively easy to beat. - The second important point is that excessive resolution with a refresh rate eats up the battery very much. From 90Hz there is more a sense of moral satisfaction than any practical benefit. Plus, despite the quality and smoothness, AMOLED still eats the eyes. I switched the frequency from 90Hz to 60 and used it for almost a month without noticing any difference until I went into the settings. Excellent battery life in the tradition of OP does not shine here. - For some reason, they removed the matte black color - blue is good, but black was better. Glass gray looks cheap. - There are no normal covers and accessories. It is easier to bring from China than to find even in Hong Kong. The kit did not include an adapter from USB-C to 3.5. It's better than a disgusting complete silicone case. - Cameras 3, but the telephoto is not usable under any conditions except for bright daylight, otherwise it makes noise like cattle. Video on a wide-angle is not written at all (and in vain). The quality of the photo on the main module is average - or rather, not very high-quality post-processing and, probably, not the best optics . - There is no feeling of lightness and speed in games due to excessive screen resolution. Everything goes fine without plugs, but even in a simple graphics, the smartphone pretty rustles and warms your hands. Models without Pro do better, it's easier for them. The fact that 7 Pro in parrots is thicker than a simple 7 raises concerns about the adequacy of benchmarks - nevertheless, the resolution there is less and therefore it should work faster in 3D.

Its pros: Fast charging of the phone (for 10 charges a quarter of the battery), user-friendly interface, no ads, no heat, no slowdowns. Has cons: at first it will seem a little heavy, but it's a matter of habit, you get used to it and you no longer feel the heaviness in your hands.
