My 2001 325Xi E46 has 309,000 miles on it and the P/S pump was whining bad and getting worse so after switching to this pump it was buzzing like just a lot out of order ( the entire front, levers, struts, ball bearings, CV joint pulley, etc.) have also been rebuilt. I think it can still go 50,000 if it doesn't reach 400,000 =) I recommend.
