I mounted my MSD 8222 coil horizontally to use the mounting posts from my original Magneti Marelli coil on the inner fender wall of my Maserati. I received a chrome plated spool mount, PN 8213, as the spool does not include the mount. The spark from this coil is quite impressive when paired with the MSD 6530 ignition. Always set your spark plugs to the correct gap and only calibrate the gap in 0.005 inch increments until you find the perfect performance for your ride. A big spark isn't always better, but this coil can keep up in the 9000 rpm range.
