<edit> A year or more and the item still holds up, but there is one big problem. The seller says it's stainless steel, but that's clearly not the case for the articulated hardware. Mine are all rusty and look awful. The stainless steel claim clearly does not apply to the hinge fittings. Such a shame. I subtracted a few stars for this as the stainless hardware would prevent the stainless steel screws from being cheap enough not to affect the price. A short-sighted decision by the manufacturer. I'll remove mine soon > Does its job. ONLY leave enough space between the rope guide and the open hook or line to allow the plate to swing down and not look like it's being pushed out. 1 star deducted because the flip hardware was very flimsy and needed adjusting and the price is a bit high for what the product actually is. To edit. 1 year later. The flip hardware is clearly rusted and probably won't last very long. Considering the price, the manufacturer should have used stainless steel hardware.
