This product was purchased for the extra desktop RGB lighting and to complement the Viper Ultimate mouse I received for my birthday. Charging can sometimes be an issue as the mouse doesn't always find the right dock right away. , but after a good 20-30 seconds of wiggling the mouse in the dock, the master mouse finds its way to the loading dock. In terms of appearance, it has the appearance of a backlit "fin" around the base, which is an area around it, but maintains clarity when viewed from a distance on a PC. Charging time when using the docking station becomes irrelevant when the mouse you're connected to holds a charge of up to 70 hours. The best value of this product for me is having a place to store my mouse when I turn off the computer at night.
