Control the power supply and temperature of your holiday home via the mobile network - so you can sit back and relax!

This works great in our country house Pocono. We have CCTV cameras and nest thermostats but they all rely on the internet. If they go out, we don't know if the internet or electricity just went out and we should worry about the heating going out and the pipes possibly freezing. This works over cellular with battery backup and notifies you instantly if there is a power outage or temperatures are above or below your chosen limits. We were a little worried as we don't have a good cell signal in our area. Voice calls don't go through - only SMS work, but this device worked right out of the box. We installed it at home where we have a good cell and then just hooked it up to another house. It worked right away. The service costs $99 per year, or you can pay monthly (slightly higher). It only records the temperature and humidity in the history log every 8 hours, but notifies you immediately of deviations or power failures. If you want to read temperature and humidity information instantly, an instant check will cost you 25 cents (you buy 8-packs for $2). But we didn't need it. We love this device! (We also have a Spit version that warns us about water, so we put it in our basement next to the sump pump.)
