Totally disappointed with the strength of these magnets. You don't necessarily have to rip off the wallet magnet, but I expect you'll feel at least a little resistance when you release it. It wasn't a big deal to separate them by hand, so I sewed the set into separate little bags and lifted the two bags off my workbench to the bag that held the smaller, thinner piece. The large magnet fell out and hit the table. From the looks of it, these magnets won't hold any flap of my wallet closed. I would say most of my fridge magnets are stronger than these, but if I could use my fridge magnets in my wallets I wouldn't buy them. Unless I have a bad batch I wouldn't recommend them. at least not for wallets, between which there will still be a thin layer of fabric. They might work for those who want the magnets exposed and I could probably use them that way, but I don't find all of that appealing in a small purse or clutch so I won't be using them. do with them at this moment. Pretty disappointed and now 5 projects are waiting for these magnets until I find something stronger or go the other way to finish them.
