Lots of parts at a great price. Nice that there are different versions. Iron the batting for support on the wrong side of the fabric for extra strength and use a seam ripper to cut the marked holes on the right side of the fabric to place the buttons. Push the latch pins through the holes, place the back of the latch on the wrong side, and then spread the latch with your thumbs. There is nothing easier. Smooth and repeat on the other side.

This is a GREAT value! I admit that it is difficult to find quantity and quality at a comparable price. I was disappointed to find that "black" is dark silver. Looking at the photos I can see how I think the lighting distorted the look. I'm attaching an image of all the colors as well as an image showing the remaining black that I compared to the two silver colors. I guess I'll know next time

Hysagentek 40 Magnetic Snap Fastener Sets Snaps are highly magnetic but some have small rust spots on the back that would be considering using them at all and all gold, bronze and black had light wear and scratches on the surfaces that would have presented poorly the gift they were intended for. Silver clasps were the least worn, but why buy a badge set that shows damage before use? I'd rather buy a pair from Joanne for $6 which I have to do now anyway.

Totally disappointed with the strength of these magnets. You don't necessarily have to rip off the wallet magnet, but I expect you'll feel at least a little resistance when you release it. It wasn't a big deal to separate them by hand, so I sewed the set into separate little bags and lifted the two bags off my workbench to the bag that held the smaller, thinner piece.
