Edit. After the update they got better. I'm already a big fan of Google Wifi devices, I've installed almost 100 devices and besides the typical installation problems that are easy to solve, I'm very happy to recommend Google Wifi to others. I saw them as an improvement on an existing model but had problems installing them from the start. I started using the new Google Home app, created my location, and then spent the next 45 minutes watching everything spin and freeze, waiting for nothing to happen. Eventually I gave in and pulled them out. I'll install Google Wifi later when it works. I will remove my one star review as soon as I see that they have fixed the setup issues. I'm an IT professional with 20 years experience and I love to combine products and Google products are the best but they are not ready for prime time yet. .
