Review on Skar Audio SK65M - 6.5-inch 2-Way Marine 🔊 Coaxial Speakers (White) - Full Range, 320 Watts (Pair) by Kevin Hawkins

I will be as specific as possible in this review. from looks and good reviews. I knew the baskets on the back of the speakers would require bigger holes in the boat and went with them anyway. If you're pulling out old crappy speakers like I did, you'll need to cut bigger holes. This can be tricky and messy. If vinyl is involved you will need to staple or reattach the vinyl after you cut the holes. I also had to remove other panels that were overlapping as these speakers are deep and nothing can be behind them holes. I did this with a staple gun, a jigsaw and 3 hours of my time. Honestly, I probably wouldn't do it again. Now for the sound quality: junk, ridiculous, excellent. I replaced the old Sony speakers that came with the boat and the difference is amazing. These speakers deliver good bass response even without an enclosure, as you'll find when you mount them on open panels. The sound quality is fantastic and I run it off the $20 Walmart double deck that came with the boat. I have a new Kenwood stereo and amp but haven't had time to install them yet as the speakers took forever. These speakers with that crazy Walmart thing sound amazing. Hope that helps.
