I saw the mixed reviews on this and decided to give it a try. I thought for the price of at least 6 bulbs would last as long as 2 big brands? I was wrong! Between 6 bulbs a total of about 591 hours of light. (They should last "about 4,000 hours" per bulb). Details: I used 4 bulbs in an old Tochiere style lamp and 2 in a new work lamp that was clamped stationary. Never touch lightbulbs with bare fingers. Also, I washed the last 3 bulbs thoroughly with alcohol prior to installation in case the manufacturer touched them. I also cleaned and adjusted the contacts on my lightbulbs to make sure they were tight. One of the lamps did not burn out, the ceramic caps simply collapsed to the point that they could no longer be used. In all cases the ceramic plugs broke, but 5 bulbs burned out before the plugs completely disappeared. Just very poorly made. They lasted from 1 day (the shortest) to 55 days (the longest). Unlike the P___ ps brand which I bought to replace, the branded glass tube is much thicker. Some users felt that the case made this a worthwhile purchase. , but my latches broke almost immediately. Also, I don't need a suitcase.
