Review on Front Turn Signal Lamp Holder Assembly for HYUNDAI Genuine 92166-3K000 by Jeff Jordan

This is NOT the right part. Period.

Certainly looks like the correct part in what appears to be an original bag with the correct part number for about 1/3 the cost than the retailer. Warning against tempters. Let the buyer beware. With the help of a friend (ALSO A MECHANIC) and a few wasted hours, we finally pulled out the outlet from the working side of the car and compared it with a magnifying glass. There are two very small protrusions on the underside of both parts (inside). The correct part and the one I bought here are oriented exactly 90 degrees. What the wrong part (bought here) does is cause it to flash rapidly, as if you have a blown lightbulb. With no light, if it was worse, so be it. But it's NO. When parked or with the headlights on, the misorientation causes both filaments to light up at the same time, essentially meaning you don't have a turn signal! Also note that this part caused the rear brake light to fail on the same side of the car. Parts were replaced on both sides of the car so I have no doubt that the problem is with the part purchased here. If I could give zero stars, I would. The part was causing four codes to be displayed when connected to the diagnostic reader. Everything worked after cleaning, but returned the code for the area where this part was located and the problem persists as stated. Order the right part from Hyundai.

Pros
  • Original Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
