good. it was an impulse buy. I have about 200 vinyl records that I've neglected for years so I decided to buy this player. First of all it's very durable and looks great and also the speakers are a lot bigger than I thought from the pictures. The sound is pretty good at 40 watts, but there's no way to boost or cut bass, mids, or treble. but sounded good enough. The speakers are cool because you can hook or unhook them to the back of the player and carry them around the house, garden or kitchen while you work or take a shower, it's cool. You can also use a Bluetooth phone, tablet or computer to play music. The hardest part every time is connecting the speakers to the turntable. It's a real headache, but seems like there's a bit of a learning curve. does his job. I only wish it had a turntable cover and an automatic needle return when an album is finished. otherwise you can't go wrong.
