Not what I was hoping for!

I was hoping this would be quick and easy. I bought a house with phone jacks in every room. Since we don't use a landline, they had to leave. I thought they were perfect but when I put them on I made sure they were clean and snug, they bubbled up where the holes were. They show the edge of the sticker even with multiple layers of paint. They are great for small holes, but not a 2" x 3" hole.
