I use them in my car, I have one on the center console (I don't open it well when there's something on it π) I have another one in the tray that was useless because things just slide out. and one at the bottom of my center console for a few little things that roll and get lost. You take your things seriously. Like my habit of lifting the center console cover when something is on it, I still do it, but at about a 45-55β° angle, nothing falls off. My tray is now really useful for storing all sorts of things. The one on my dashboard is great for things I know I'll be looking for like my vape, round, last minute. I usually have lots of ponytail holders, invisible hair clips, loose change, lighters - round crickets that roll down, sometimes my phone when I'm not using the holder. I'm only acknowledging this to give a good idea of how well they work. When I'm driving alone, which is most of the time, I tend to take sharp turns and it's quite common for things to skid. Nothing will move on them. They are easy to clean, just rinse, shake off and let the residue sit if the water dries quickly and that's it. Hands-free, and because they're easy to clean, they can be used to blend foundation or remove excess with a blender or brush. In the shower, this shampoo bottle that keeps falling, she'll use one, and my razor loves falling too, I cut the long side off one, that's all.
