I've been dabbling in laser etching and CNC milling recently. When you start crafting, you need a good and inexpensive supply of materials. Wood, no laminate, no chipboard, and they're pretty close to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. (They're not perfect, but you're not paying for perfection.) (Please see the attached picture.) After working with snails for about two weeks, I found out how to make some really nice counters, etc. which I was delighted to do Find out about an inexpensive resource when studying and experimenting. If you are new to the world of crafts or need to cheaply make a lot of things from a 1.5 inch wooden ball then these are perfect for you.
