This is a very good tray. The design was simple and it works exactly as described and cleaning the litter box is quick and easy. I have only used another litter box (open litter box) once before switching to this one and from the comparisons I can make there is a lot less dust flying around when I use the Omepa Paw self-cleaning litter box. While it's quite expensive for a poop bin (although not as expensive as some other self-cleaning ones), it makes cleaning up the litter a much less onerous process and I highly recommend it. Design criticism: - The lip provided to collect the trash doesn't work for me because when I tip the box to remove droppings, pieces of debris fall to the floor. I found it easier to take it off and use a litter box instead to catch the litter on the cat's paws - the material scratches easily, after a week of use the bottom of the litter box is all scratched from moving here and there while cleaning. Nobody is looking at the bottom of the tray, so it's not a big deal, but for people who like things looking new for a long time, you might not want to push it, put a mat underneath it or anything. .
