1. There is no such thing as complete noise reduction (assuming it's even achievable in jokes). The suppression of high frequencies is better than that of low frequencies; hence, a male voice can be heard considerably more clearly than a female voice. 2. As a result of the noise reduction process, there is an increase in the amount of white noise, which exerts what feels like an additional amount of pressure on the ear, but you quickly forget about it. 3.
