Spiritual packaging! This thing is amazing, soft, delicious and easy to use. The smallest size is too big for almost all newborns - too wide and long for my grandson (8.1 pounds at birth, 21 inches long) even at 2 weeks - but it was still perfect for doctor visits. You can strip them down to their diaper and cuddle or feed them, opening them slightly for skin-to-skin contact but still keeping them toasty in the cold, conditioned air. And then remove to check. It's wider and longer than a newborn, probably better for a 2 month old baby. It's not thick enough to swaddle and the hood is still there so you can't sleep in it but how much I would love it for my winter born granddaughter. Think of it like a warm, soft bathrobe! The little pumpkin seems to like it!
