NO! you will get angry and want to destroy everything.
The main reason I bought this tripod was so I could attach the adapter that came with it and use it with my phone. The threads on the male or female part of the adapter will not engage and you cannot tighten it onto the tripod platform. (Think of a stripped nut/bolt connection) BUT neither end has stripes - this is the wrong size. I tried taping my phone to a tripod and then I just got mad and came here to complain and express my anger. DO NOT BUY if you plan to use a mobile adapter.
