Item was well packaged with everything as described. The device is powered from a separate wall outlet connected to a USB power adapter, but uses a cylindrical DC connector instead of a standard micro connector. USB-C port. Also included are multiple 3-foot cables for connecting to the analog RCA outputs. The wires are good quality with gold plated connectors but the cable is not shielded but that doesn't matter with runs this short. The instruction manual is well written and helps with easy installation. The device will immediately turn on and enter pairing mode with a blue-red flashing light. Pairing with my phone was easy and my phone confirmed the LDAC connection. I connected the unit to my Denon receiver and listened through Beyerdynamic's DT990Pro headphones. Headphone output of the phone with the receiver. Basically, this Bluetooth receiver does not change or color the sound in any noticeable way. And that's good. The highs that old Bluetooth audio connections suffered from were just as good as a wired connection. Bluetooth range was not an issue in my medium sized home, I had a solid connection in every scenario I could encounter. The device is small and fits well next to my receiver. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the best possible wireless sound quality in a small, easy-to-use device.
