Review on Wet Brush Paddle Hair Blackout by Melissa Hart

I can't stress how awesome this brush is. I have curly/frizzy African American hair and finding a comb that combs through tangles is a real nightmare. This product had a lot of good reviews, but I still bought it with caution. Thank goodness for Revain's return policy, am I right? Luckily I didn't even have to think about it because I LOVE this brush so much! I'm usually scared of combing my hair (I literally only brush my hair once a week because I'm very scared of it). I pulled it out and OMG the process was completely painless! I had to run my fingers through my hair to make sure this comb was actually detangling the knots because I couldn't believe how little it hurt. If you have a quirky kid who hates brushing their hair, THIS is the brush you've been looking for (I know I'm a 30 year old woman with a quirky kid hate brushing her hair attitude to brush your hair). Another plus for me and one of the main reasons I wanted to try this brush is the sturdy construction of the pen blade. My last two paddle brushes that were reasonably decent consisted of separate paddles and a glued(?) handle. My first brush broke while brushing my hair due to this loose connection and the second broke in the same spot when I dropped it on the floor. Since this brush is a one-off, I hope this weakness will not be built in. Also, my hair often got stuck in the groove where the two pieces came together and pulled my hair out. This is also not a problem with this brush. I haven't tried the mini version of this brush yet but am thinking of getting one for an upcoming trip. If it performs even half as well as this version, I'll be in the shade and very happy. I can't say enough good things about this product!
