My wife borrowed my old Logitech webcam to use for teaching students online during the pandemic. Of course, this left me without a camera on my computer. I was looking for a new camera with great reviews but at a reasonable price. I had reservations about purchasing a "X Brand" product, but decided to take the plunge anyway, knowing that the seller stands behind their product based on the reviews. I mainly use my webcam to skype with a friend who lives 1700 miles away. Since it is deaf and sign language is our only means of communication, good image quality is very important. I Skyped him last night shortly after receiving and installing the camera. When he answered the Skype call, my friend was amazed at the picture quality. He couldn't believe the sharpness, brightness and overall quality. He had never seen anything like it on a webcam before. Installation was a little tricky as I had issues with the microphone. When I finally got it to work, the volume was too low. Eventually I was able to improve it, but it's not quite what I expect. For what I currently use the camera for, it's not a big deal. One more thing. The envelope the camera came in was completely open. I'm surprised the camera didn't fall out in transit. The box wasn't sealed so I don't know if it was a return but I'm pretty happy with it so I'm keeping it to myself.
