Overall I am a Tevas fan and the quality of this product is on par with theirs. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the straps along the upper feel more like a swim shoe than a really durable outdoor shoe (which is what I was looking for). The toe is covered in material, which is definitely a good thing. But it doesn't have a thick chunk of rubber or anything else that might offer extra toe coverage. The soles of the boots are more like real shoes and are suitable for walking in our yard and forest. But they are definitely better for carrying around the pool, creek walks or light use than for really hard play in the backyard with different surfaces and obstacles.
