Review on πŸͺ‘ HomePop Parsons Classic Button Tufted Aqua Dining Chairs, Set of 2 - Stunning Accent Chairs for Your Dining Room! by Angela Flores

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice though. . . . .

I tried to change my rating to 3 stars but couldn't. The chairs are beautiful and well built, comfortable and good value. BUT . . . . the seats are soft and springy while being comfortable, but the sitter seems to slump into the chair. The standard height of dining room chairs is 18 inches, they shrink to about 14 inches and my husband was so uncomfortable sitting so low that we called a carpenter to saw 2 inches off the dining table as there was no way to raise it. chairs. Now the chairs can no longer be pushed under the table because the table legs taper up from the floor and are too close together at the new, lower height. Attention buyers! Choose chairs along with the table and no longer allow for a height difference of more than 12 inches from the COMPRESSED seat to the table. Maybe buy chairs first and see how they suit you. They are beautiful! Assembling the first chair was a grueling 90-foot ordeal, but here's what we learned that will make assembling each subsequent chair easier: 1. Identify the hardware. The two threaded bolts are medium length, between 4 long and 4 short.2. The black fabric base is attached with Velcro, you can easily remove it to insert the screws.3. Start with a plastic peg that runs down the center of the backrest and lines up with the center of the seat.4. The two short screws can then be inserted, but do not fully tighten until all of the long screws holding the back panel are in place. Remove the packaging from the front corners and install the front legs after the rear legs are secured.5. A flashlight will help you see into the dark corners of the seat. Plan for the first chair to be slow, but as you get better at it, they'll get easier. Enjoy the chairs, we do! I think this is a table that we may need to replace. PS 6 months later we kept both the chairs and table but I would opt for a more durable chair, maybe with leather or PKU (faux leather) which is firmer.
