Review on Create Stunning Cords With Mythrojan Bone Lucet Fork: A Polished Finish Weaving Tool by Oscar Kaufman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

great little lucet - my new review

This is my first lucet. I opted for the bone one, and yes, it is bone, you can tell by the smell when you sand it. Since the ends of the tines are blunt I rounded them with a Dremel to make it easier for the loops to slide over.It is a pretty small lucet; I've been using it fine to make cord out of worsted weight yarn, but I suspect a slightly larger one would be more comfortable for me. However, it's well made and satisfying to the touch.

Pros
  • ★ Make drawstrings, lacings, buttons and embellishments for your knit and crochet projects. One tool, infinite possibilities. The new, patent-pending tool that makes pom poms, tassels, a variety of friendship bracelets, cords and weavings that also converts into a slingshot.
Cons
  • May take time to master, making it less accessible to beginners

Supposed to be "horn" and "polished" but felt like plastic, and was crudely and roughly cut. Certainly not "polished". Overpriced and misrepresented. Avoid.
