Review on 🔳 Fluval Foam Filter Block (204/205/306 & 304/305/306)- 2-Pack: An Efficient Solution for Enhanced Filtration by Donna Lewis

They are awful and I know Fluval can do better because the foam blocks that came with the new filter were great. This is not the foam filter cartridge that Fluval shipped with the filter when I bought it new. It's MUCH more porous. I don't understand how he is supposed to catch and hold something. Yes, it's that bad. Great filter, best I've had but those replacement foam blocks are ruining it. I would have liked to take photos, but I used them because I had no choice, the originals were taken. However, I cleaned out two of the prettiest old ones that lasted a few months and put them on the front and the two new ones on the back. I order generic here on Amazon because I read reviews that they are better than this. (but still not as good as the originals) I've never given a one star review because they always sound tearful and I always thought people were just pouting. I recently bought a hammer and unscrewed the head in one day for which I got TWO stars. No whiner, they're just that bad. Maybe I took it personally because I love my turtles, or maybe because I expected the company that sells you the $200 filter to take care of your pets after you shell out the money. Premium price, terrible quality.
