I am very happy with the collar and remote control. Initially and almost always thereafter, this beep is sufficient to deter the behavior (signalling of undesirable behavior); If necessary, I sometimes use the vibrate function to stop unwanted behavior. If ever a dangerous situation arises or containment is required I appreciate the long reach that can be used for a static function (tested on my finger so I know how it feels, works very well with a long reach). It also has very good range and weather protection. Great collar with many uses, very happy with the purchase.
