I was looking for new bar stools and came across this set. They are quite cheap compared to similar chairs so I really wasn't expecting much comfort as long as they are functional. I will say that we are all surprised at how comfortable and durable they are. The lower back is ideally positioned to provide support without a full back. They fit perfectly under the counter and make our space so much bigger! (We replaced our chair with a full back) We have a regular height counter, not a bar height. The stools are light and leave no traces on the floor. Our only issue was that they were a bit tricky to put together. I suspect a few holes were drilled at a slight angle. Otherwise, this is a great stool at a great price! The angle of my picture makes the stools appear higher than the bar. They aren't. You won't see her from behind until you walk around. They fit right under the counter. I would definitely recommend her!
