So I originally received the kit with no instructions so I gave it one star. However, about the next day after sending my request, they sent me instructions. So now I can really see it. The reason I took off a star is the build process itself. Mind you, they mention that there should be two people for the first build step, which really helps a lot. This is doable by one person but quite difficult. So know that. Some steps also make you wonder if the engineers really tried to assemble one of them according to their instructions. For example, I would recommend installing the cart handle as the first step rather than after installing the top cart rails. use literally. My hands were pretty clammy after installing all of those screws. Anyway, the end product looks very nice. The wood is really very dense. If it's pine then it's a fairly mature wood and not a fast growing material. Once assembled, the table is very durable. Once I move out of my apartment and into the house, I plan to sand and restore it to match my other furniture. This is definitely a keeper for materials and build quality.
