Review on 6 Light Lighting Fixtures Flush Mount Foldable by Michael Norwood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Looks good but hard to replace bulbs.

The lamp looks good but it is very difficult to change the bulbs. I read the reviews for the cheap bulbs that came with it, so I bought better quality bulbs to swap out before installing. It was almost impossible to unscrew the ring that held the bulbs. If the lamp had been mounted on the ceiling, the bulbs could not have been removed. In addition, the ring that holds the bulb is chrome and its finish is different from the rest of the satin nickel body. The light is designed for cheaper low-profile bulbs. Better quality bulbs are slightly larger, so the ring is difficult to push down and tighten. In my photos you can see the socket with the expensive GU10 bulb and how the ring with the new bulb sits. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AFTER INSTALLATION: Seller has great customer support and sent a replacement. Both fixtures had the same problem, but I was able to analyze it better. Some of the chrome rings that hold the bulbs in place were very tight. Not all rings were tight. Also, one of the rings had some rust on the inside, which could cause problems over time in a humid environment. I chose the 3 rings that worked the best, but still had to work hard to squeeze out the expensive full-spectrum bulbs I bought. It was a struggle. I ended up using a silicon sticky pad to unscrew the ring which really helped. The light was easy to attach to the ceiling and looks great. It complements my kitchen and its stainless steel appliances. All in all, the fight was worth it. The mount looks great.
