Review on Derwent Super Point Mini Handheld Pencil Sharpener (2302000) by Kelly Caballes

Only suitable for flat-edged pencils. When I try to sharpen round pencils, the handle on the front panel doesn't hold the pencil. The front panel jumps as soon as I try to sharpen a round pencil. I can only use it by holding the sharpener and holding the pencil tightly. Table clamp not working properly. The pencil sharpener slides around. I'm afraid the plastic parts of the clamp will break if I try to tighten it any further on the table. I need three hands to use this Derwent mini sharpener. I have two full size Derwent Super Point sharpeners. You worked for about 2 months, but then kept breaking off the ends of the pencils. I bought another full size sharpener because it sharpens to a very fine point and the second sharpener still works well. The second is about 10 months old. I would not recommend this mini sharpener unless you are using flat sided pencils. You will have trouble with any round pins you use. If you can get it to work you'll get a nice sharp pencil point.
