Didn't work with many different DP1.4 cables despite troubleshooting

Hooked up my Macbook Pro, initially only had the 24hz option. I had to reconnect it several times and finally got the 165Hz that the monitor can support. Then I tried connecting my desktop PC to it and even after using a few different cables I can still only get 24Hz on it. However, G-SYNC somehow still registers. At this point, it's better to just buy a couple of female-to-female DisplayPort extenders and just swap out the cables manually.
