Review on 🌡️ CURT 56611 Extreme Temperature RV Blade Trailer Wiring Harness Plug: Cold Weather Ready, Blunt-Cut Wires, -40F to 221F Degree Rating by Ronald Wheeler

Based on previous comments on this harness I had some concerns. So prior to installation I checked all the pins and found that they really matched the standard colors, wire gauge and connector circuit layout. I don't know if any changes have been made, but this product meets all but one of the specifications. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is that the lug on the mechanical connector latch is a bit longer. I had to take my Dremel tool and cut off 1/16 inch to fit my Expedition's trailer port cover. All other plugs I've used didn't have this problem. This was easy enough that it was more of an inconvenience than a problem. Not only is the outer sheath designed for low temperatures, I am also very pleased that fine-wire conductors are used. They probably had at least three times as many strands as the standard RV wire I had in my RV. In cold temperatures, this can have the same effect as an outer jacket. The only wish is that they set up their tools to lock the tow truck!
