Despite the confusing reviews from people saying it works and doesn't work, I decided to give it a try. Do not do that. The reason some people say it won't fit in their stereo is that on some models it fits VERY tight (there's no official standard that all manufacturers use for double dins). Mine was one of those and I thought I'd have to sand it down but after being patient I framed it. The problem is that this made the frame in the dashboard very narrow. I assembled everything even though I thought everything would be fine. The second day I was driving it when all the pressure it was under caused a little "explosion" and now my dash is cracked for good. Either don't buy this at all or sand it down to make it a smooth fit. Don't try to squeeze it in like I did. Thanks to SCOSCHE my torpedo is now broken.
