The ring is beautiful and durable. I am a busy person who does needlework, gardening and odd jobs that are probably not typical of most women. I don't take my ring off for that, so obviously I needed something hard. I also wanted something small (thin) so it wouldn't snag on anything while working. And I love pretty things, so I wanted my ring to be pretty enough that I actually wanted it on my finger. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the groove is too narrow and the blue in it is barely visible. My husband's ring is wider with a bigger groove and blue buttons. i love the ring It doesn't get any better than this, especially for the price.
