I just wanted to attach screenshots of the same drive (Samsung MZ-76E1T0BW) on the old mother of 2022 Asus P5Q (SATA II) and already on the new ASRock H310CM-DVS (SATA III), maybe it will be useful to someone. Windu did not reinstall, only delivered the driver to the new mother. The test conditions are the same - without any extraneous loads on the disks and the processor. I did not particularly notice the difference in the download speed of Windows by eye, maybe a second, maybe two at the most. I must say that Windows 7 is not loaded through BootManager, plus the seven, as far as I know, do not sequentially read files during boot (like Win 8 and 10). Although, maybe I'm wrong . The computer turns off, in general, at the same speed. The speed of random reads during the transition from SATA II to SATA III did not change very significantly, from 41.26 to 49.34 MB/s.
