I bought one and it was too big so I exchanged it for a smaller size. My son has all legs and a long torso with no hips so his legs in jeans are closer to a size 8 but his hips barely reach a 7 so the struggle is real. I got this suit for my wedding and it was amazing! It fit well (I took it at the waist) and it washes really well too (he played in the red mud during the reception). I highly recommend this suit. Just be aware of sizing issues as I measured it before I bought the first suit.
