This is a simple but reliable dog flap. It's better made than the flimsy plastic. This door is great for my huskies and two cocker spaniels. Also, I love that it has a magnet that keeps the door closed properly after being used by dogs. This will help prevent flying insects from entering. Yes, it's more expensive than other doors, but if you have active dogs that go in and out on their own, then this is the door. For the record, I replaced a flimsy door that eventually broke due to repeated use of dogs. So pay up and let it deal with your big and active dogs who love to hop on and off many times throughout the day!
